Decide these three things first

Which SIM. On a dual-SIM handset, register the number you will still hold in two years, and the one whose messages you actually read. Mobile number, with the country code. Confirm the dropdown reads +91 before typing. It resets on some builds when the keyboard opens.

Password. Eight characters or more, unique to this account. Defeat the keyboard's automatic capital on the first character. Write it into a password manager as you type it, not afterwards, because "afterwards" is when it gets skipped.

Confirm password. Type it again rather than pasting, which catches the capital-letter problem immediately instead of at your first login.

One-time code. Arrives on the registered SIM within a minute or so. If it does not, check the messaging app's SIM filter and the carrier's Promotions tab before requesting another. Stacked requests slow the queue rather than speeding it.

Invite or referral code. Almost always collapsed behind a small link marked "Invite code" or a plus sign, and easy to miss entirely. It cannot be added after the account exists. The age and terms tick. An 18-plus confirmation. Read the withdrawal clauses rather than skimming them, because that is the section that decides whether the money is reachable.

What hardens the second you submit

Three entries become expensive or impossible to change: the mobile number, the name, and the fact that this is your one account.

The name matters more than people expect. It is not decoration. When you eventually withdraw, the account name and the name on the receiving bank account or UPI handle have to correspond. Typing a nickname, a shortened form, or a family member's name because their UPI is the convenient one is how a balance becomes theoretically yours and practically frozen. Use the name exactly as your bank holds it.

One account per person, per number, per device, per payment instrument. This is stated in the terms and it is enforced at the withdrawal stage rather than at sign-up, which is why people discover it late and badly. Two accounts on one handset, or two accounts funded from one UPI handle, is the most frequently cited justification for voiding a balance permanently. If a household wants two accounts, that means two people, two numbers, two payment instruments, two handsets.

The first ten minutes after the account exists

Do this before you deposit anything. It is dull and it prevents the two problems that generate almost all support tickets.

Step 2: Open the profile menu and read every item once. Withdrawal history, verification status, change password, bet log, invite programme. Knowing where these live before a problem is worth more than reading about them during one.

Step 3: Start verification immediately, on a quiet afternoon. It asks for identity documents and sometimes a bank or UPI confirmation. Done now it is paperwork. Done at your first withdrawal it is a delay you will read as the platform stalling.

Step 4: Switch on any two-step option available.

Step 5: Add a home-screen shortcut from the browser menu. A fixed launch point removes the daily risk of tapping a poisoned search advert.

Step 6: Write the registered number and the registration date on paper. Support will ask for both, and both are hard to reconstruct.

What registration does not give you

It does not give you a verified account, a funded wallet, or any promotional credit. Verification is separate. Funding is separate, and the routes are set out in DM Win Deposits & Withdrawals. Promotional credit almost always requires a qualifying deposit and carries a turnover condition attached to it.

It also does not give you an edge. A new account is the same odds as a five-year-old account. There is no fresh-player advantage, no beginner's luck setting, and no first-week bonus multiplier on your actual chances of winning a round.

Two things that go wrong at sign-up

"This number is already registered." Either you registered before and forgot, or somebody using your handset did. Use Forgot Password on the login screen rather than trying a different number. Creating a second account to escape the first is the worst available move.

The code never arrives at all. Confirm the registered SIM is physically in the phone and has network. Confirm airplane mode is off on that SIM specifically, which is a separate toggle on dual-SIM Android. Then check the Promotions tab. A carrier-side delay of a few minutes is normal at peak hours.

The honest close

Sign-up is free, fast and completely reversible in the sense that you can simply never deposit. That is worth remembering, because the form is designed to carry you straight into the cashier.
